| Women’s Ministries involves encouraging women to discover and use their gifts to help others and further God’s work. In Evangelism, page 465, Ellen White says that women “can do a work that men cannot do. They can come close to the hearts of those whom men cannot reach. Their labor is needed.”
Women’s Ministries is growing steadily. About 80 percent of the churches and companies each year elect a Women’s Ministries leader. The local leader encourages all women to be involved in many areas of ministry. Women lead out in small prayer and Bible study groups, reclaim missing sisters through the Heart Call program, have friendship “teas” or prayer breakfasts, and are involved in many other inreach and outreach programs. |
